The second day in May is one of the major Madrilenian fiestas -celebrates independence from the French.
Maria's School friends, their children and the Menkens went to the Leonardo Da Vinci Exhibition. From his inventions to his art there was much to learn. It was extremely interesting. As an example, we saw the Mona Lisa (the original still in the Louvre) many times with the different colours (including the original and faded) and broken down with an explanation for each part.
Outside the Exhibition. The children included about 11 boys & 3 girls. |
All the boys minus the baby. |
The whole crowd. |
After the exhibition in the park. Billy completing the monkey bars for the umteenth time. |
Charley succeeding a different way. |
Harry's coming to the end. |
Marta's turn. |
